Egyptian and there gods
Ancient Egyptians believed in many gods/goddesses. The major gods and goddesses they worshiped were Osiris
who was believed to rule over the after life, Isis was the ultimate goddess, and there was Ra the sun god. Osiris was a early Egyptian pharaoh. Osiris's wife who was Isis was a faithful mother. Osiris and Isis ruled the underworld together. The Egyptians depended on Ra the sun god for there crops because of the sunlight. So if they didn't treat Ra the god respectfully they believed he wouldn't give them sun for there crops. So without there crops, there would have been food reduced and then more and more people would start dyeing.

The pyramidsThe pyramids were built for the pharaohs or important people in ancient Egypt because the ancient Egyptians believed that if you buried someone in a pyramid they will have a happy after life. Along with the important person gold and valuables. Each individual Pharaoh deigned there own pyramid. For example the one of Ramses II pyramid. The tomb is not the longest tomb of any king in the Valley of the Kings, but it is probably the largest in area. It covers more than 820 square meters (8,800 square feet). We believe he began construction on it during the second year of his reign. The tomb reverts to an older plan for tombs, with a bent-axis plan, but it does not regress in style. The bent axis is most likely because its architects were required to avoid a bed of shale during the tomb's construction. In order to enter the tomb, one must progress down a short ramp and stairway and then make a left turn. The decorative program is similar to the tomb of Seti I, but with some new additions. It is the last royal tomb that still features decoration entirely in true relief. At the entrance and for the first time, we find a lintel with decorations of a solar disc flanked by Isis and Nephthys. In the doorway we find scenes of Ma'at seated above heraldic plants of Egypt. But it took load and load of servants to build pyramids. Servants would haul big blocks of stone across sand that had been saturated with water, in order to haul the blocks easier. Then they would pull the stones up a ramp and apply them to the pyramid.
